Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how BlubirdIQ LLC ("BlubirdIQ", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you visit blubirdiq.com or submit a request through our HELOC form. It also explains the choices and rights available to you, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA") and other U.S. state privacy laws.

In short: we collect the information you type into our form and technical data about your visit. We share your request with lenders and marketing partners so they can contact you about home equity options, and we may be paid for doing so. You can opt out of that sharing, ask what we hold about you, and ask us to delete it. See Your Privacy Choices.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

Information collected automatically

Information from other sources

With your Credit Authorization, we or our partners may obtain consumer report information about you from consumer reporting agencies through a soft inquiry. We may also receive information from our partners about the outcome of your request (for example, whether you were contacted or whether a loan closed) and from service providers that validate phone numbers, email addresses and postal addresses or detect fraud.

2. How we use information

3. How we disclose information

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

4. Categories under the CCPA

In the preceding 12 months we have collected, and disclosed for a business purpose or sold/shared, the following categories of personal information as defined by the CCPA: identifiers; personal information categories listed in the California Customer Records statute (name, address, phone, financial information); characteristics of protected classifications (military status); commercial information (the product you are interested in); internet or other electronic network activity; geolocation data (approximate, from IP address); and inferences drawn from the above. We disclosed these categories to the recipients listed in section 3. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by the CCPA.

5. Your Privacy Choices

Opt out of sale or sharing

You may direct us not to sell or share your personal information. To do so, email hello@blubirdiq.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share" and the name, email and phone number you used on the form. We also honor Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser for the browser you are using. Opting out does not withdraw a request you have already asked us to send to partners; see the next item for that.

Withdraw consent to calls and texts

Reply STOP to any text message, tell the caller, or email hello@blubirdiq.com. Each partner that contacts you is also required to honor your request to stop. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of contact made before you withdrew it.

Access, correction, deletion and portability

Residents of California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may request to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about them, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we have disclosed it; may request correction of inaccurate information; may request deletion; and may request a portable copy. Email hello@blubirdiq.com or write to BlubirdIQ LLC, 1401 21st St #17981, Sacramento, CA 95811. We will verify your identity by matching the details you provide against the information on your request. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request for you; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization and may still verify your identity directly. We respond within 45 days and may extend once by a further 45 days where permitted.

Non-discrimination

We will not deny you services, charge you a different price or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right.

Appeals

If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. If you are not satisfied with the outcome you may contact your state attorney general.

6. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies for site operation, analytics and advertising measurement. Details and your controls are in the Cookie Policy. We do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, which have no agreed meaning, but we do honor Global Privacy Control.

7. Retention

We keep lead records, including consent records, for as long as needed to serve your request, to document consent and respond to disputes or regulatory inquiries (generally up to five years from your submission), and as otherwise required by law. We then delete or de-identify them. Technical logs are kept for shorter periods.

8. Security

We protect information in transit with TLS encryption and at rest with access controls, and we require our service providers to do the same. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, email hello@blubirdiq.com and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy by posting a new version with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be noted on this page.
